1, 2...Whoop! Whoop!
Rockstar & Dim Mak have truly organized a phenomenal tour for their starlet artists! Any fan of house, bass, or techno MUST see this show! Terravita did a fantastic job opening, Datsik dropped the bass hard while leaving our hands in the air, and Steve Aoki veered the night onto a whole new level of electronic performance! His energy matched or surpassed the crowd's, his setlist was flawless, and his methods of pleasing the audience kept the momentum going all night! Even the stage set-up was detailed to synchronize with the most minute bits of his songs! For those of you worried about it being an all ages event, the kids and teens held their own pretty well; just try not to step on them! All in all, you really couldn't ask for a much better rave! Mr. Aoki, please come back, and a HUGE thank you from Dallas!
Entertaining, Great Music, Better than Spookfest
I feared Waka being on the same tour as Aoki, because I didn't want my high to be ruined by slow or rap music like at Spookfest.
Waka opened, got everyone ready with their drinks and hanging out.
When all the other DJs came on, everyone rushed to the floor. It wasn't too packed, security was chill, free to roam around as please, plenty of refreshment booths.
Music was smashing!
Aoki is crazy, he did all his trademarks: Raft surfing on crowds, jumping, caking more than 15 cakes!! That's crazy!! Where did he order all his cakes? How does it feel to be all nastily mushed in sugary frosting? Well the people seemed to like it!!
Light shows: Average, could be crazier.
